Good Manners and Kindness Never Go Out of Style!
The El Dorado Junior Cotillion is proud to celebrate our seventeenth season in 2025-2026. The El Dorado Junior Cotillion program is for 5th and 6th-grade students. Our mission is to help students gain self-confidence and self-esteem while practicing social skills that will last a lifetime. Fifth through sixth-grade students are taught ballroom, line, country, 60’s, and popular dancing. This program was created to give pre-teens an opportunity to participate in social settings where manners and social dance are learned in a safe, fun environment.
5th-6th Grade Junior Cotillion
The curriculum in this program includes the teaching of dance and social graces and the foundation of good manners. Manners are taught and put into practice at each dance. Two dinners are served (one formal and one informal) with instructions on table graces. Refreshments are provided at the other two dances.
Tuition for 2025-20026 Cootillion is $250 which is due at registration on September 7, 2025 or before. Enrollment is limited on first come basis.
Attire:
Attire is coat and ties for boys (or suit) and dress shoes (no tennis shoes). Dressy dresses and dress shoes for girls. Some dances will be costume or casual depending on the theme. All students need to wear comfortable shoes for dancing.
Instructors
Suzanne Reynolds started El Dorado Junior Cotillion in 1991 after completing training with the franchise “The Graces.” Leaving El Dorado in 1995, she moved to Texas where she started a Cotillion program. Returning to Arkansas several years later, she revamped the El Dorado Junior Cotillion in 2008. This year Barbara Reynolds will join her team.
